Aussie Animals – caught in nine photos

Aussie animals - Two kookaburra

The animals of Australia have always held a strange attraction to the outside world. And well they should: split off from the rest of the world’s evolutionary patterns hundreds of thousands of years ago, they have developed in weird and wonderful ways.

As we travelled around South Australia then up to Central Australia, we were lucky to come across hundreds of interesting bugs, reptiles, fish and mammals … here are our favourite shots from a few weeks of spotting animals across Aussie.
