I stayed in Nantucket through Sept. It’s just like Janine said, warm, beautiful, a lot less tourists. I think Fall is one of the best times to be there!

We went to Nantucket last summer and had a wonderful time! It’s beautiful and there is a lot to do. We used this to find out what was happening: http://www.nantucket.net — they have a great calendar of events.! We’re planning to go back this September. Has anyone been there in the fall?

Ahhhh it was definitely tereté and not mate that they were drinking! They drank both, but tereté was very common everywhere in Paraguay.

When I was in Paraguay, mate was tough for me to drink. It’s so bitter! Interesting what catches on in some places. But, the family I stayed with drank it ALL the time. They had big thermoses and would sip on mate everywhere they went. Since it was summertime when I visited, many people drank their mate ice cold.

I got hooked on Mate and now drink it back home…however, I’ve done away with the whole gourd/straw combo and just stick to teabags of mate – I guess I’ve Americanized it a bit

Y isn’t Dublin der man? Dublin has loads of attractions such as the guiniss buery, the BIGGEST CLOTHES shops in europe and it has loads of good transport links like Dublin airport trains stations that go around the country, Lias(tram) and Dublin bus offers a large variety of bus routes around Dublin and northern Wicklow, so tge dublin a try and I promise u wont be dissapointed!

Finding cover for pre-existing medical issues is definitely hard. And finding insurance for over 65′s too!

I don’t think you’d be flying economy on half a million dollars; but the main goal of evac is to get you from the danger zone to a safe-haven or properly equipped medical centre – not repatriation.

As you’re a New Zealander, you might look into SCTI who have unlimited budgets for evac… but you can only hold a policy for 12 months, so need another renewal option if you’re travelling for an extended period.

We’re trying to see if we can get the old player fully replaced with these pretty, interactive SoundCloud players and working with them to try and make that happen.

worldnomads (and many others) seem to have no cover for existing health conditions (and a very broad definition of the same), they also have only $500k cover on evac – that sounds very, very low, and if I had a broken leg I most certainly wouldn’t be wanting to fly economy!

Obviously, we all have our favorites but I have to applaud you on The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, as that is definitely my all time favorite film for many reasons. It definitely stirs at my gypsy Hungarian roots and I feel restless and want to migrate somewhere. It is a beautiful film with an amazing journey and I can be caught up in the journey by just watching it. I do however travel quite a bit for work unfortunately; Dish has me going all over the place. The upside as a subscriber of dish I can utilize so many movie options one in particular. It is during these travels that I whip out my iPad and go to dishonline to access a movie that will inspire me at my destination. There are so many movies there that I can use to enjoy off-hour adventures that I am intrigued by my works trips more often. The Beach really caught me as my inspiration movie as I had to move away from the beach. On a trip last month, I was on the beach and every so grateful that the film inspired me to do so.

Wonderful list! Do visit Varanasi. It is what it has been written about, in fact it is much much more. You guys will love it!
