The café

Public Group active 4 days, 13 hours ago

The café is a place to hang out, grab a coffee or glass of wine and chat travel and all sorts with people. If your thoughts don’t fit in any other group, drop them in here and we can mull over them while crunching biscotti.

In the first week of March, we’re running a few stories on travel around your home… Nearby towns and cities, things you’ve discovered in your own place.

And we’d love to hear from you!!

Do you ever get out and explore around you? If so, this is your chance to share your photos, your stories, and your Youtube videos. We’re going to pull them all together into a massive post and share them with tens of thousands of Indie Travel Podcast readers.

Want to take part? Email your story/photos/youtube links to:

    Ange
    angela@indietravelpodcast.com
Use the subject: ITP Community stories

Or you can send her a message through the community – @angelal (http://indietravelpodcast.com/members/angelal/). Send her a friend request, then you’ll be able to send a private message using your Indie Travel Podcast Community account.

Looking forward to reading your stories, seeing your photos and videos!

(If you have your own blog, let us know and we’ll link back to it too!)

    Hi Craig & Linda,

This sounds like a great idea. I emailed Angela a couple of days ago with a pitch idea so as not to cover the same ground as another blogger. I haven’t heard back — and realize she may be in transit.

Should we email it anyway? Are there writing and photography guidelines?

    Thanks,
    Lane

Hi @lostbackpack – yes, send it in.

The only guidelines are those above… Not looking for a 1,000 word article though; just a paragraph or two with your story.
