  1. Well great, thanks for that. If I didn’t already want to throw a few things in a backpack and head off to SE Asia again, that’s pretty much sealed the deal.

Looks like I need to learn to ride something bigger than a scooter first though…

  2. Hey Dave, sorry about that! As for learning to ride something bigger than a scooter… Thats what I did right there, I had never got on anything bigger than a scooter before EVER… Laos was the perfect place to learn, just rocking up and down the fairly quiet roads was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!

  3. You’re not helping, Aaron. ;-) Seriously though that’s really cool that you were able to pick up riding a bike while you were there – I spent an hour or two last night looking at riding courses here but if it’s something that I could do when I get there, I’d rather put the money towards a plane ticket!

    Cheers for the advice…

  4. Darn gosh, I tried when I was there to get hold of a bike.. where did you get yours for your trip when u where there?

    • Hi I got the bikes from opposite the big purple internet shop, at the time he was the only guy renting big off road bikes, he had some moto’s too.

It was where the bus drops off from Vientienne….

      Enjoy!
