• Good suggestions as ever! I’d add that I believe in the torch being a good quality wind up one.

An iPod and a Kindle 3G (Free internet almost anywhere!) are great too, if you’re planning on taking electronic […]

Hi guys. Yes, that was on the Mongol Rally. We were the first team to drive through Iraq and it seemed perfectly safe and friendly during the couple of days we were there. I only found out about this a few […]

    Home for Christmas, eh? :)

How long are you in the UK for in March? You guys would be more than welcome down here in the South West. It’s a beautiful part of the world.

Oh and I’ve just signed up for CouchSurfing too, on your recommendation :)

Hey C&L! I hope you guys are well.

I haven’t got my head around starting the book yet. I’m hoping to crack on and at least make a start over Christmas when I have a break from college.

Where are you guys at the moment?

Hey guys! It was truely incredible.

I believe that we were the first ever rally team to go through Iraq and it was certainly a highlight for us. I’ve never met such friendly people, or indeed experience such rugged natural beauty. The Kurdish region should be on everybody’s ‘to do list’.

Of course, Iran, all of the ‘Stans and Mongolia…[Read more]

You’re right, it is expensive. However, being down in Devon, it would’ve cost just as much, if not more, and been impractical for me to travel back and forth from the embassies and consulates in London.

I’ll be sure to tune in when you speak to D&D!

The Adventurists Visa Machine sorted it for me – I’m taking part it the Mongol Rally. Really interesting to hear your podcast about it a few weeks back (An Itunes search for it led me to your podcasts and then to this great site! KUTGW guys). We’re actually taking in 25+ countries on our route – we think it’s probably the most adventurous…[Read more]

        • It seems like a good process (and money machine!) they’ve got going on there. Good stuff; just saw your itinerary map … Looks amazing.

We’re doing an interview with Dave and Deb from thePlanet D in two or three weeks, just before they head to London.
