This is an oldie but a goodie! Do hostels in NZ still largely require travelers to supply their own sleeping bag?
January 22nd, 2010 at 3:39 pmAn oldie indeed
Things have improved since this show!
Almost all hostels provide bedding now; the only time you’ll need your own sleeping gear is if you’re staying in DOC huts (i.e. you’re camping or hiking). BBH is the big hostelling organisation here, and the NZ Backpacker Boards are our local forum.
