Hapai is good, Dianas Or in native tongue Tianas, Guest house is super, Have to get the boat or can walk over to the Island on low Tide, If you get the Fale near the kitchen you can watch the whales migrate, so good I stayed a week.The Islands History dates back to 16th century,Diana’s consists of a toilet block Warm showers as the water tanks in the sun a big main kitchen, Lanterns a well, fishing equipment,snorkling equipment, Pool table Macchettis{as It has a Huge coconut plantation}

Great podcast on Tonga – however you forgot to mention pangaimotu island- this is a great little island with a restaurant and a bar about 10mins boat ride from Nuku’alofa. It’s a great place to visit for a day trip or afternoon while you are in Nuku’alofa and is a very popular Sunday activity (while the rest of the town is closed). Its not too expensive either.

Also you mentioned your difficulties finding food but the main market in town usually has a good supply of veggies and fruit (and the pineapple, when in season, is amazing)

It sounds like their is a lot of good reasons on why anyone would want to travel to Tongo. The Accommodation and surrounding area is idealic. The free attractions sound great but their is one you forgot to mention, the weather. That would be one of the nest reasons to travel to the Tongo. Gav @ bristol hotels.

I absolutely LOVE you guys! I have only been following you both for the past 6 months via Sherry Ott’s website. I have finally caught up on ALL your podcasts! I love listening to your podcasts because it gets me excited for my travels. Thank you for the site and the podcast…haven’t read the magazine yet, but am looking forward to it.
