Portugal – Porto – Universal Residential

July 15, 2008 in Portugal

Since there are no hostels currently in Porto, this three star hotel makes a nice alternative. Clean and secure with friendly staff, plus great location at a reasonable price.

BOOK this hostel.

  1. There’s at least one hostel in Porto – I recently stayed at the Andarilho Oporto hostel. Although I seemed to hit it at a bad time (the entire place was booked with stag parties…and me) it was well-situated close to one of the main shopping streets, not far from a metro stop heading toward the airport, and a leisurely walk to the riverfront. Not the best place I’ve ever stayed, but adequate. The rooftop garden could be a fun place to drink with friends.

  2. That’s great news. We didn’t find it during our time there. Sorry to hear about the stag do’s, but thanks for the find, Emily.
