Ahhh … familiar Wisconsin scenery. Where exactly was this taken, though?

That is the Fox River in Appleton in the area call “the flats” which are flat islands in the middle of the river. The building is an old paper mill which are now apartments.

It’s a really fantastic photo Gary. I love photos of those old, run-down buildings. They add so much character to a community. There is a building called Banbury Place in Eau Claire that used to be an old Goodyear Tire factory. Today it’s worn down, though the community is trying to revitalize it into an arts area. It’s such an interesting dichotomy between old and new.

Wow… So I’m assuming some of the buildings were submerged already? (Referring to the remaining building structure in the foreground)
