What is Burning Man? Burning Man is a gathering of like-minded people in the middle of the Black Rock desert in Nevada … But it’s a bit more complicated than that.
The Burning Man Festival
The Burning Man festival brings together a temporary community of people from all walks of life in the Nevada Desert, in the United States. A whole town springs up on the “playa”, complete with streets, nomadic camps and art installations. This all climaxes in the burning of a large wooden statue of a man (hence the name). In recent years the Temple has been added, which also goes up in flames before the week is out.

Sorry, but the Black Rock Desert is not in Arkansas. It’s in Northern Nevada. Also, it’s not a festival, but a community.
